2018 Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run was held on February 18th under the theme “20 years of a running for a purpose”. The management and staff of JIO participated yet again in this unique road-running event designed to inspire fun, fitness, and camaraderie among Jamaica’s business community.

Of a record 26,519 number of participants this year, our team of 56 did well in their display of volunteerism and continuous camaraderie. Part of this charity event for 6 consecutive years, we are honoured to contribute funding and provide time and energy to this cause. $50 million raised this year will help the run's two beneficiaries: the Spanish Town Hospital Neonatal Unit and the St Christopher's School for the Deaf.

We want to express a big thank you to all who participated in the 2018 Sigma Walk/Run, some of whom were not able to come out this year, and Roger Bevan, our team captain. All did extraordinarily well to ensured that this 2018 staging was again a success. Congratulations to our top pair: Anthony McKenzie, in a time of 24 minutes and 18 seconds and Tamuku Coombs, in a time of 33 minutes and 46 seconds to finish the 5.5km race!!

We would also like to “big-up” all the regulars, we are also grateful that we had representatives from all Highway 2000 East-West locations in attendance. Next year promises to be bigger and better and we look forward to everyone’s continued support.
